Prayer For Self Esteem | A Powerful Prayer For Boost Confidence

If you feel that you are already consumed with self-doubt, I ask you to agree with me as I pray, and together we will seek our Beloved Father in heaven.

Let us pray.

I came before You because I know in my heart that only You can lift my soul and touch my heart. I haven’t felt well for several days, and I have felt as if I’ve lost value in myself. When I look in the mirror, I can no longer feel satisfied or confident in my appearance. With that, I ask You today to see into the depths of my emotions and heal them, to bring my heart back completely to You. Lord, help me to focus on what is right and what has remained true since then, help me to focus on You so that I no longer have to think about all of these things that cause my heart and mind to suffer.

I humbly ask You to shine the light of affirmation on who you have made me be in times where I am in the dark places where doubt thrives and confidence subsides. Because when things get tough, the simplest thing to do is to forget who I am in Your eyes. Many times, I mistakenly saw my limitations as flaws, leading me to believe that I was a failure. With that, Heavenly Father, I ask You to strengthen my faith in Your promise that those mistakes are still an expression of Your grace.

Prayer for Self Esteem

Lord, whenever I lost my courage, I ask You to remind me through Your grace that I am always loved and appreciated because the lies I have been hearing remained deeply in my mind. I confess that I became weak for letting worldly lies consume me, but I know that Your power is mightier and stronger than any of those. Take this fear away from my heart and renew my courage to do the things which I am afraid of.

Therefore, I release any anger and resentment before You, and I release forgiveness for those who have wronged me and caused me to lose my confidence. Lord, I have acknowledged that there is no distance in the Spirit and I am grateful because I know that You listened to my previous prayers and that You will always listen to what my heart speaks and what it cannot. I also confess that the intimidation from other people has caused me to stumble, but I also acknowledge that a part of it was my fault because I let them take away my confidence in myself. With that, I ask for Your forgiveness for letting them think they are superior when I know that the only thing that makes us all inferior is Your power and grace.

Lord, help me to always be guided with Your Word that I am chosen by the Almighty King and with that, there should be no reason not to be confident (Ephesians 1:4). I am thankful that Your Word is comforting my heart and mind right now and that Your touch reminds me that I am created in Your image and that I am your workmanship. With Your love, I am reminded that what You have given me is a spirit of hope, love, and peace, thus there’s no room for fear. I declare that my self-confidence will be stronger than ever as it is given by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead.

Heavenly Father, You are my light and salvation. With You, I am confident that I will no longer sink into the pit of fear, disappointment, and sadness. I welcome you with open arms and ask you humbly to reestablish Your love, grace, and hope in me. Lord, I also ask you to take the good that is left in me and fill all the voids with Your presence. I declare that I fully recovered the love, security, and confidence I have lost to see in myself. Always grant me Your wisdom and revelation to see who I am in Christ. I declare that I am no longer broken but whole through Your love.

In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
